What is the difference between Care Resource’s Home Care services and Home Health Agency services?

Home Care’s CNAs and Home Health Aides provide companionship and help with everyday activities, such as bathing, dressing and grooming, meal preparation, assistance with walking and home exercise programs, light housekeeping including laundry, and respite care for families. 

Our Home Health Agency takes it a step further and also provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, a Registered Dietitian, Medical Social Work and a Nurse Practitioner – all in the patient’s home.

Will my insurance cover the costs?

Care Resource accepts most major health plans including:  Blue Cross Blue Shield, BMC Healthnet, Care Centrix, CelticCare, Medicare,Medicaid, Mass Health, Neighborhood Health Plan RI, Tufts Health Plan, Senior Whole Health, United Healthcare, and Private Pay.  We will work with you and your insurer to determine what is covered in your particular situation.

How do I know I can trust the people who come into my home?

Our staff are all carefully selected, and are licensed and screened.  Our company is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, a national nonprofit health care accrediting organization.

What kind of medical supplies can Care Resource provide?

We offer a wide range of well-known and proven brands of negative pressure wound therapy vacuum devices, ostomy supplies and urological catheters.  Our clinical staff is available to help with patient education and care, and our local warehouse means that needed supplies are just a phone call away.
