Chronic Pulmonary Obstructive Disease (COPD) affects 30 million Americans suffering from progressive lung diseases such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and non-reversible asthma. Patients Who Refuse Home Health More Likely to be Readmitted

A recent article in Home Healthcare News notes that patients who refuse home health care services after being discharged from a hospital may be at higher risk of being readmitted.
